Vigil

A dark comedy with just two characters, Vigil follows interactions between a middle-aged man and an elderly woman believed to be his estranged, dying aunt. Each scene occurs surrounding the woman's "death bed" from which she often peers out from beneath her covers. I created a pen illustration inspired by the dark but humorous work of Edward Gorey and Charles Addams.
